Overview & Core Purpose
The TECMPC Board and Bakeshop Committee are launching a logo contest open exclusively to all active TECMPC members. The winning design will serve as the official logo representing the bakeshop’s mission of community service, cooperative income generation, member employment, and unity.
Contest Kick-off: Next week, July 20, 2026.
Submission Deadline: July 26, 2026 (Late submissions will not be accepted).
Contest Mechanics & Submission Requirements
Eligibility: Active TECMPC members only (maximum of 1 original entry per member).
Format Requirements:
A colored design in high-resolution PNG or JPEG.
An editable file (AI, PSD, CDR, Canva, etc., if available).
A brief design rationale/explanation (maximum of 150 words).
Design Standards: The logo must be original, simple, scalable (works in color and black-and-white), and versatile enough for packaging, uniforms, and social media. It should incorporate themes of baking, community, and cooperation.
Rights: The winning participant transfers all ownership and usage rights to TECMPC.
Selection Process & Judging Criteria
The winner will be determined through a two-phase selection process:
Phase 1: Committee Screening
The committee will score submissions to select the Top 5 Finalists based on the following breakdown:
30% – Relevance to vision and objectives
25% – Originality and creativity
20% – Visual appeal and memorability
15% – Simplicity and versatility
10% – Overall impact and branding potential
Phase 2: Facebook Voting
The Top 5 finalist designs will be posted on the official TECMPC Facebook page. The entry that garners the highest number of valid reactions during the announced voting period will be declared the champion.
Prizes & Recognition
Champion: Declared the official logo winner, receiving a Cash Prize and a Certificate of Recognition.
Finalists (Top 4): A Consolation Prize and a Certificate of Appreciation.
